Differences Between Men and Women Production

This commission was one of the first out of college, but it was a very unique project and a delight to work on. Carl David Blake Films is in it's final editing stages for its first big short film The Differences between Men and Women I worked on prop design, and a very cool prop it is. The film starts off with a fortune telling scene, but rather than tarot cards, runes, or a crystal ball Mr. Blake wanted an arcane leather chart. I designed each character on the chart and had to figure out how to get it transferred onto leather. I settled on leather burning and the result I think is pretty cool.

The trailer for the film is now out and online. The chart is actually featured in the first 14 seconds! Fair warning the trailer is NSFW due to some sexual content.
