Character Art and Background Design - Volcano a musical
Background design to establish the look and feel of the town Roseyville. Wanted a location both lush and decrepit, a slice of Americana with a heap of magical realism on top. Roseyville is a small town in a forested valley in the shadow of a volcano struggling under the aspirations of an affluent Mayor and entrepreneur up for re-election.
Wanted a cast of characters diverse in body type, race and class. With feedback from sensitivity consultants and people of multiple backgrounds we arrived at our initial cast of main characters. |
